This is an installation work that uses paintings from the “Ref-rection” series, created on acrylic panels. The installation aims to transform these two-dimensional paintings into a three-dimensional presence by harnessing the effects of light and shadow, filling the entire space with the work itself.
The two paintings used in this installation (sized 1400×1100mm and F20 size) are physically small and flat, yet through the play of light and shadow, the colors of the paint expand throughout the space.
Additionally, as viewers move around within the installation, the shadows of people and artworks sway, creating a dreamlike, ephemeral atmosphere.
