This work was inspired by memories of a journey through the eastern region of Hokkaido. Through overlapping colors and translucent light, it captures the vastness and atmosphere of the landscape.
It is also my first painting on acrylic sheet, marking a turning point in my artistic practice. As such, it holds a special significance and serves as a precursor to the later piece Ketchup Bottle on the Shore.
北海道・道東を旅した際の風景の記憶をもとに制作した作品です。透過する光や重なり合う色で、広大な自然と空気感を表現しています。本作は、アクリル板に描く手法に初めて挑戦した作品であり、自身の表現における転機となりました。後の《浜辺のケチャップ瓶》にもつながる、重要な一作です。
